Is that all we are worth? Our bodies return to the dust after death, but the vast majority of humans believe there is something greater in our makeup. It seems incredible that a pile of dust can think, hope, dream, laugh and cry. This "dust" gathers information and develops character to make choices. It learns and goes on to control the environment. Does all of that only have a value of $8?
It does if there is no future—if there is no purpose for life or destiny—if there is not something more to us than simply those elements. But there is a spirit essence that we cannot see—a life-giving and life-driving force that makes this $8 pile of elements function as the person you are. God used those simple elements to make a person of priceless potential—you!
