Health is so important for the enjoyment of life.

“Give us this day our daily bread” is part of the prayer Jesus taught His followers (Matthew 6:11). In our society too many are eating more than the daily requirement. Obesity hurts and robs us of many joys of life. We can decide whether we are eating in order to live or living in order to eat.

Some eat out of habit, some have experienced huge changes in lifestyle, some are affected by medication, some simply have their metabolisms slow down. Self-control makes us feel good about ourselves. Living to eat robs us of living. Eating to live makes us healthier, happier and pleasant to be with. Each person is unique—what is your level of intake that allows you eat to live?
