Given In

Leaven and Vanity

The Apostle Paul exclusively uses the word "puffed up" (Greek phusioo) in the New Testament. Six times in the first letter to the Corinthians and once in another letter. He warns them to avoid being "puffed up" as they prepare for the Spring Holy Days. King Solomon covered the topic of 'vanity' in the book of Ecclesiastes. We need to realize that many of the things in our lives are 'vanity', but remember that our relationship with Jesus Christ and God the Father are not among them - it will last forever.
