Nehemiah: Examples of Godly Leadership

Mankind has always been in the search for leaders to follow. While God desires that each of us follow Him first and foremost, He has provided leaders for His people and given leadership principles throughout His word. The book of Nehemiah records the action-packed account of God working through Nehemiah to rebuild the walls around the city of Jerusalem. Throughout the account, Nehemiah turned to God and involved Him constantly in all that He did. We also have recorded in the book many Godly leadership traits that Nehemiah displayed in the way that he worked with people and performed God's will. These traits apply to those in positions of leadership as well as any that are serving their families, communities, and congregations.
