Understanding God’s Will
Scripture gives us guidelines on how to live and God’s perspectives on many issues. We learn how to understand God’s will by keeping His laws and reviewing how God’s law is applied. We can review the examples (both positive and negative) from scripture in both testaments such as Abraham, King David and Christ’s example in the gospels. We can learn from the letters written to individuals, congregations and the entire church. We can see how analogies and metaphors are used including parables. We can also learn God’s will by learning and applying principles from scripture.
