Who Will Build a House for God

A discussion of some of the “major” construction projects throughout history, the Panama Canal, the Brooklyn Bridge, even on back to Moses’ Tabernacle, Solomon’s First Temple, etc. Who recalls the individual contributor’s names? Not very many are remembered or even known (some of the particular craftsmen are mentioned in relation to the Tabernacle, but most workers are unknown; 10’s of thousands probably worked on Solomon’s Temple, but they are not in the record…) He went through some of the few “everyday people” that are mentioned in the building of God’s Temple in the New Testament (the early church), mostly through mentions in the book of Acts. David Dobson pastors United Church of God congregations in Anchorage and Soldotna, Alaska. He and his wife Denise are both graduates of Ambassador College, Big Sandy, Texas.
