Modern culture would have us believe Christmas is meant to be a time of celebration and joy, despite its well-known pagan background. People reason that since God knows their hearts, He would be pleased with their intention of observing Christ's birth. However, God tells His people to honor Him in a very different way... So, does it really matter?
Len Martin is the pastor of the United Church of God congregations in Cambridge, Columbus, and Mansfield, Ohio. Ordained in 1999, Len has previously served congregations in Worcester, Massachusetts, Seabrook, New Hampshire, Ann Arbor & Lansing, Michigan and Dayton, Ohio. Len also serves as Camp Director for Pre-teen Camp Buckeye.
Len holds undergraduate degrees in engineering and information systems as well as an MBA in Finance. Len and his wife have been raised in the Church of God and have 5 children. They are very thankful for the Biblical truths on marriage, family, child-rearing and many other interpersonal relationships!
