Develop the Spiritual Fruit of Humility

We know that in ancient times it was one of the lowest jobs to wash another’s feet. Is that the only meaning we are to learn—to become a lowly servant to another? Humility is a very perishable fruit that, when not properly taken care of, can easily be choked out with pride and vanity.
 

Jim serves as a Deacon in the San Antonio congregation. He and his wife Debbie grew up in the Church of God. Jim's grandmother first began attending the Church of God in the 1950s.
