The Golden Rule
Deuteronomy 21:22-22:12
The Book of Deuteronomy has much for us to learn as does the whole Bible. The world generally refers to the Golden Rule but that term is never found in God's Word. In Deuteronomy are listed many seemingly miscellaneous laws. If we look closely at this section of the Bible we find that we are to love others as we would have them love us. We are to care for others as God cares for us. We are to obey the law so that we can become more like God our Father.
