Living the Life of Faith With Conviction, Commitment and Courage
About 3400 years ago on this day, ancient Israel crossed the Red Sea, a type of baptism. Though Israel was to go on to live a life of faith, they did not leave Egypt spiritually. The Days of Unleavened Bread should prepare us to gain the total victory, the deliverance from sin and death to live the life of faith made possible by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Before his retirement in 2021, Dr. Donald Ward pastored churches in Texas and Louisiana, and taught at Ambassador Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has also served as chairman of the Council of Elders of the United Church of God. He holds a BS degree; a BA in theology; a MS degree; a doctor’s degree in education from East Texas State University; and has completed 18 hours of graduate theology from SMU.
