The Lord's Prayer
Every word of the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6 has meaning and is a restatement of the plan of God. Jesus Christ gave us this prayer as a model of how to pray and what to pray about. This sermon explores additional aspects of this prayer which teach us who God is, where He is, how forgiveness works and about the Kingdom of God. Let us look forward to the Kingdom of God when the whole world will understand and experience what this model prayer means.
Jim serves as a local elder in the Big Sandy (East Texas), Texarkana, TX, and Ruston, LA congregations. He and his wife Laurel also enjoy traveling and visiting other UCG congregations. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1990 – 1994 and currently works in the IT department of a local hospital. He enjoys watching and playing sports, and loves working with children.
