The Promise Is To You and Your Children
Abraham was a man who God knew would teach his children "...that they keep the way of the LORD..." From the time of Abraham to our day, God is working through families. This sermon addresses the love of God, as expressed in the promise to Abraham, and that is passed on to the families of members of God's Church today. Practical biblical exhortation to teach our children God's way is included in the second half of the message.
Welcome! Here in Olympia and Tacoma, Washington, God has called two wonderful congregations of His children to fellowship together each Sabbath. Nancy and I both grew up in this faith from the early 1960’s, and have been married for over 41 years. We have two children and five grandchildren. I was ordained into the ministry in 1996, and was asked to serve as a full-time pastor in 2010. Having moved to this area in 2015, we have grown to love the church family into which God has placed us. To see them growing spiritually and in numbers is a special blessing from our Father and Jesus Christ.
We are here to serve the church and the community around us, especially in ways that reflect the light of Jesus Christ in this dark world and help lead those who our Father calls into the church, which is the body of Christ.
