Sincerity AND Truth

INTRO: Unleavened Bread in Sincerity and Truth”. ARE we alive with God in Sincerity and Truth? What Sincerity? What Truth? (1 Cor 5.8)

People can be “sincere” – and yet not fully correct. Like sincerely keeping an incorrect non-biblical holiday or working very hard to keep God’s Law thinking that justifies you as righteous. For instance, what age you ARE cannot be magically changed to another age – “Since you are 27, why aren’t you 60? Because you can’t change reality by force of your will.” What already IS, may not be what you understand, but it IS.

BENEFIT STATEMENT: So, when we SAY we are a Child of God, alive with Him in Sincerity and Truth, how do we KNOW we are not merely saying that out of wishful thinking. Are we trying to make ourselves sincerely Children of God by force of our own will alone?

SPS: To become eternally alive, instead of this temporarily existence …there is a process: Let’s see God reveal HOW we - In order to be a Child of God – In Sincerity and Truth, (ALIVE With God).

1. What IS God’s PERFECT Design for humanity? …ACTIVE, LOVING Sincerity and Truth!

1 Corinthians 8:6 (NKJV) 6  yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.

            Yet …there is something wrong with all this …in this world …

Romans 6:16-19 (NKJV) 16  Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? 17  But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. 18  And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. 19  I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness.

HOW did this happen? We were born into a world that enslaved us and we allowed it? THEN it has been made NOT enslaved to SOME now. For WHAT Purpose?

Genesis 1:26-28 (NKJV) 26  Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." 27  So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28  Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."Genesis 1:31 (NKJV) 31  Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Genesis 6:11-12 (NKJV) 11  The earth also was corrupt [from root “to decay”] before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12  So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

Genesis 6:5-7 (NKJV) 5  Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6  And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7  So the LORD said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them."

Matthew 12:33 (NKJV) 33  "Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad [rotten] and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.

Acts 3:21 (NKJV) 21  whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration [restitution, putting in order again] of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

• God’s Sincere and True Design is  OF  H I M  BY the Word/Christ -

John 1:1-5 (NKJV) 1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2  He was in the beginning with God. 3  All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4  In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5  And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.  

John 6:63 (NKJV) 63  It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

• God’s Eternal Goals – ALL to be saved Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV) 11  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

(((((1 Timothy 2:3-4 (NKJV) 3  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4  who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.  (((((Kingdom no end  Isaiah 9:7 (NKJV) 7  Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

1. GOD’S Approach NOW to corrupt humans …SEE self vs God (by God)! Respond to HIS TRUTH

God’s Transforming Process works  …IF a human is open to not being enslaved in the world.

• Acts 2:38 (NKJV) 38  Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  [SEE Sin – Hate It]
• Acts 3:19 (NKJV) 19  Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing [removing of corruption in YOU] may come from the presence of the Lord, [Allow Corruption to begin being reversed]
• Acts 3:20-21 (NKJV) 20  and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, 21  whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. [Cleaning continues until all things are ‘good’ as designed]
• Romans 11:28-36 (NKJV) 28  Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. 29  For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. 30  For as you were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, 31  even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy. 32  For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all. 33  Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! 34  "For who has known the mind of the LORD? Or who has become His counselor?" 35  "Or who has first given to Him And it shall be repaid to him?" 36  For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. [WE are NOT like God]
• Romans 12:1-2 (NKJV) 1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. [Prove God’s WAY!]  

• Repent, Be converted, Be Transformed …by the Proving through life God’s Perfect Way!

We have a higher calling than to recognize that God made us and has given us this new life, but we are called like those consecrated and separated to God’s Holy Purpose of EXPANDING God-Life Creation! This commitment is to GOD rather than touching what is unclean …or not of Sincerity and Truth.

We are NOW - Offering ourselves unleavened BY God for THE Reasons HE created us ALL …

1 John 4:9-11 (NKJV) 9  In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10  In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11  Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

((((1 John 3:10 (NKJV) 10  In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

Thus, corruption is removed. “PROVE God’s Will” This includes the great victory over corruption with Christ proving God’s Will and the results of THAT “Proving” by God’s Word and Spirit through Christ. Repent, Be Converted, THEN …we MOVE on to becoming LIKE Christ and Our Father …

• God’s Essence IN you creates Truth in the Inward Parts – a Clean, Undivided Heart –

Ephesians 3:16-19 (NKJV) 16  that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17  that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-- 19  to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

(((((Galatians 5:22-25 (NKJV) 22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23  gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24  And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

God’s Righteousness Effects HIS Good Creation in OBVIOUS Sincerity and Truth to increase MORE Good Life …

• Like Him – Sincere, unfeigned, but COMPLETELY accurate Forward-Looking LIFE – of GOD

Romans 6:5 (NKJV) 5  For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,

((((Philippians 3:20-21 (NKJV) 20  For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21  who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

1. God’s Design …to GROW “God-Life” NOW in this Age through HIS Sincerity and Truth!

• Bear Fruit - More Good Creation Through Restoration of All Things, STARTING with ACTIVE Sincerity and Truth (not merely hearing it) in US for ALL Creation!  

John 15:4-8 (NKJV) 4  Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5  I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6  If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7  If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8  By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

WE are to be OF the Word of reconciliation by God and Christ (making peace) with God and man and SHOWING the “righteousness OF God” by being OF and IN Christ. THAT will reveal God to man …and bear MORE Life OF God! THAT is the Fruit in ACTION!

That’s is Why we are here. Someone else did it for US!

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 (NKJV) 17  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18  Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19  that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20  Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. 21  For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in (with/because of) Him.

• Create New (Restoration, sincerely, in Truth BEGINS NOW in US)

Revelation 21:5-7 (NKJV) 5  Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." 6  And He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7  He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.  

Conclusion:

• Glorious Liberty through ACTIVE Sincerity and Truth …BECAUSE of the Family and Children of God in THIS Age, THIS world, right NOW!  –

Romans 8:21 (NKJV) 21  because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

• God’s PERFECT Design for humanity (including YOU)?  ACTIVE, LOVING Sincerity and Truth!
• GOD’S Approach NOW to corrupt humans …SEE self vs God (by God)! Respond to HIS TRUTH
• God’s Design …to GROW “God-Life” NOW in this Age through HIS Sincerity and Truth!

CLOSE:

God’s Design for Creation (Including mankind) was and IS for it to be good, acceptable and perfect in His Will. We are NOT designed to be decaying and therefor ceasing to exist because of our corrupting of God’s Perfect Good Creation.

God’s Design for US is to be with Him, IN Him by Jesus Christ leading us, and In each other OF God Who created us ALL for HIS Purposes.

THAT is Sincerity and Truth. God’s Plan for you through the Sincerity and Truth of Jesus Christ yielding His life to God and God’s Will throughout His life even all the way to death on the cross …in Loving sacrifice for sinners.

Take THAT Mind Into you which was in Christ Jesus. The Result?

Daniel 12:3 (NKJV) 3  Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.
