Our Most Important Race
The bible compares our Christian journey to running a race. Our spiritual race can be tiring and very difficult at times, but we are encouraged to remember the prize that God will give to all who endure – eternal life!
Doug Wendt is a 1977 graduate of Ambassador College with a BS in Physical Education. His career included work as an electrician and General Contractor. Doug was ordained into the ministry in 2013 and previously served congregations in Orlando, Jacksonville and Ocala, Florida. He now pastors the United Church of God congregations in St Petersburg and Tampa, Florida.
