A Peace That Surpasses All Understanding
For the world in general this has been a very stressful time. We as God's called out ones should not be afraid of what's going on around us, and God provides an antidote to the fear and paranoia that is affecting a number of people. Do what you are able, but then - stand still, pray to God, look to the things that are not seen – the spiritual, and be ready to experience a peace that surpasses all understanding. The peace of God surpasses human understanding because it is the fruit of God's holy spirit in us. God is standing by, ready to give us His peace.
Jim serves as a local elder in the Big Sandy (East Texas), Texarkana, TX, and Ruston, LA congregations. He and his wife Laurel also enjoy traveling and visiting other UCG congregations. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1990 – 1994 and currently works in the IT department of a local hospital. He enjoys watching and playing sports, and loves working with children.
